Beverly Magda, Ph.D.

Dr. Magda is the Associate Dean for the Technology Management master’s degree program and also serves as the Interim Executive Director for the Systems Engineering Management master's degree program at Georgetown University. Dr. Magda has over 20 years’ experience in the technology field that includes enterprise-wide systems initiatives and organizational systems change at organizations such as the Humane Society of the United States and Johns Hopkins University, in addition to her industry consulting. Her experience in managing projects from a systems level has led to publications and presentations regarding organizational systems change across the United States. Before coming to Georgetown, Dr. Magda taught at Johns Hopkins University, George Washington University, and Hood College. She also holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer & Information Science. Dr. Magda is a member of INCOSE, HIMSS, AMIA, and EDUCAUSE. Dr. Magda is an avid distance runner, running coach, and a passionate animal rescuer.
